Description
Operation Instructions:
Summary of Features:
• Two usage methods – with hot‑air gun or standalone.
• Method 1: hot‑air gun at 230‑240 °C (level 10‑12) with airflow 7‑9; compatible with 2310 or 858 air gun (2310 preferred, 260‑280 °C).
• Method 2: standalone at ~292 °C (level 13‑15) airflow 6‑10; factory default 290 °C.
• Smart temperature controller allows precise adjustment via “set”, “<<”, “↑/↓” keys.
Method 1 – Using a Hot‑Air Gun:
The digital temperature controller is set to 230‑240 °C (temperature level: 10‑12; airflow level: 7‑9). Place the iPhone mainboard on the unsolder bench and heat for about 2 minutes. Use an imported 2310 (air gun) or class 858 air gun for operation. The 2310 gun typically runs at 260‑280 °C; the 858 model is not recommended. Hundreds of CPU repairs have shown no tin explosion when removing the rear top cover, and pins can be replaced quickly.
Method 2 – Standalone Use:
Set the digital temperature controller to approximately 292 °C (temperature level: 13‑15; airflow level: 6‑10). No air gun is required. This method is highly successful and easy to operate (e.g., hard‑disk disassembly/assembly). The unsolder ships with a factory default of 290 °C (level 13‑15; airflow 6‑10), which serves as a starting point; fine‑tune the temperature according to actual conditions and ambient temperature.
Smart Temperature Controller Adjustment:
When the display shows “present value (PV) / set value (SV)”, press the “set” key to flash the SV indicator. Press “<<” to select the temperature digit, then use “↑” or “↓” to adjust to the desired temperature, and press “set” again to confirm.
