• U301 is used to read and write USB_C ROM chip data(CD3215&CD3217)

• U301 contain 26 original data(including 2016-2020 USB_C ROM chip original data) 

• All the type_C line of Macbook is doing 5V-20V increasing process, damage of the USB_C ROM data will cause the motherboard power supply 5V only

• When the voltage of the motherboard keeps jumping from 0V-5V, it means the USB_C ROM data was damaged

• Using U301 to read and write compatible model of Macbook, helps the voltage to be back to normal 20V

Compatible Model:

• Applicable to all Macbooks with Type_C  interface from 2016 to 2020

• For Macbook USB_C chip from 2016 to 2018 uses CD3215

• For Macbook USB_C chip from 2019 to 2020 uses CD3217
