This tool is widely used by communication and engineering technicians for testing and troubleshooting communication systems, computer networks, and metal circuits. It can directly track RJ45, BNC, and RJ11 cables or other wires through an adapter—no need to strip the sheath—making it fast and easy to locate breakpoints. It also tests telephone line status (idle, ringing, off‑hook) and identifies TIP or RING lines. Note: only for DC level testing.
