Note: This product is only compatible with 12V vehicles that meet OBD2 and EOBD standards, specifically gasoline/diesel/hybrid vehicles supporting any one of the following five protocols: CAN, J1850 PWM, J1850 VPW, ISO9141, or KWP2000.

Operating Principle:

• When a vehicle system malfunctions, the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) or Check Engine Light illuminates. Simultaneously, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) stores fault information in its memory. By reading the fault codes from the PCM using diagnostic equipment, technicians can swiftly and accurately determine the nature and location of the fault based on the codes. Targeted inspections of relevant components, assemblies, and wiring are then conducted to resolve the issue.
