• Built-in frequency range: The frequency range can measure the frequency of AC signals; during measurement, connect the test leads in parallel across the circuit. This is effective only for periodic AC waveforms. Measurement is convenient and can detect power-frequency, variable-frequency, and low-frequency pulse signals; however, high-frequency measurement accuracy is relatively poor.

• The capacitance range is used to measure capacitance. The capacitor must be discharged before measurement; whenever possible, remove the component for offline measurement. Connect the test leads in parallel across the capacitor terminals and wait for the reading to stabilize. This range measures capacitance only and cannot detect leakage or withstand voltage; errors are significant during in-circuit measurements
