Features:

• The X1004 is a dual-drive PCle M.2 NVMe protocol M.2 SSD expansion board designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi 5, supporting NVMe protocol M.2 interface hard drives, high-speed read/write, fast data transfers, and ultra-fast booting

• The X1004 is specifically designed to be placed on top of the Raspberry Pi 5, similar to a traditional HAT, it provides a 40-pin header for easy access to GPIOs and you can still expand your favorite HAT

• It is fully compatible with the official Raspberry Pi passive cooler, ensuring efficient heat dissipation

• The mounting holes and brackets not only protect the SSD drive but also dissipate heat efficiently for reliable performance. Built-in LEDs indicate read or write status

Notes: 

• The X1004 is designed specifically for data storage purposes and currently does not support booting NVMe with existing firmware

• Supports two 2280 NVME M2 SSD disks. Booting NVMe with existing firmware is not currently supported

• The dual SSD expansion board does not support PI5 booting from SSD. If you need to boot from SSD. A single SSD expansion board must be used
